In general, you aren't going to find a 24" breaker bar for 1/4" sockets and if you put that much torque on them you'd likely break them. 3/8" and 1/2" can have higher torque amounts applied to them...

Different sized fasteners and different torque ratings. For example you would use a 1/4” ratchet for a valve cover, a 3/8” for the middle ground and 1/2” for suspension work.
