Not a modem, so it won't work to connect to your ISP and get internet. This is a router so if you connect this to your modem and then manage the connections for your home.

It should work if your just getting FIOS internet. But if you’re getting the tv,phone, and internet bundle then you’ll need a different one.

routers have always worked when linked with an ISP modem. routers alone have always worked with fiber ISPs like Verizon when using ethernet.

Yes. Depending on how your Fios is set up, you may have to keep the existing router and enter it into Bridge Mode. Other case would be totally bypassing the Fios router and connecting directly...
