Deal still works. The G6 play was $150 and G6 $180, plus $10 sim and $25 airtime. Couldn't find any better deals for this phone, so thanks! Picked up the G6 for $180.

Just so everyone knows - you can do the same deal with the Moto G6 (standard edition). It will be $50 more but you get a much better phone (better screen, much better camera, worse battery though). ...

Except there is a real concern by many that they will get dinged at some point because the phones clearly were meant to be activated on Google Fi. Once we reach the 30-45 day mark and people continue...

Cut it down to size with some decent scissors. I've converted all mine down and haven't had any issues. On a couple of lines, I started with standard size then changed phones to a Micro then to a...

I have read the review that the 720p screen is intentional on the G6 Play because it does not drain the battery as quickly as the 1080p screen.

My phone has a mini sim, not nano. I just want to transfer it to a new unlocked phone but all phones nowadays are nano. What are some options?

Buy a SIM cutter from Amazon. Looks like a mini stapler, you slide the SIM in and cut it. Sounds nerve wracking, and it kinda is, but it worked for changing out my Micro SIM to a nano.

Just like others have said, been using this unlocked phone for a few days and I really like it. The performance is better than the specs suggest ... maybe due to 3GB of RAM, or maybe due to Moto's...

I agree, but the $50 might be very significant for some. I have read that Amazon is going to have a promotion on the Moto G6 during their July sale. I think I might have read that they were going...

Can you replace the battery on the regular G6 to get higher capacity? Because other than that, and the regular USB port on the Play version, I see no reason to get the play version.

Same, got one for $80 from Walmart for the free Sprint plan and it's not bad despite having 2GB RAM/16GB storage (Boost Mobile version). Only thing I wish it had was double tap to wake.
