At 1080p, not really. Unless you are a "serious gamer" a 1060 is kind of tops for a laptop. You can certainly get a 1070, but those are harder to find and usually quite a jump in price.

We have a Nitro and it has a bug where it randomly shuts down when on battery power.We have not found a fix yet. So do your homework first of course but I would recommend against the Acer.
