Most Android boxes out there are spoofing the ram to show more anyways. It's become a common tactic they have begun doing I've read. So paying more for a 3/4gb is kinda useless at this point.

If you want to use it for Netflix, Hulu, etc I agree this isn't a great box. If you want a Kodi specific box this is ideal when running OpenElec and forgetting about the whole Android side of it.
