Great color quality for watching movies at home. We even set it up outside during the summer to watch movies.

If you don't mind spending a bit more, I was able to get a Benq HT2050 factory refurbished for about $437 after coupon on eBay this spring. Occasionally eBay has 20 percent off coupons. The projector...

I bought the Viewsonic at $499 in December and before it was delivered the 2150 dropped briefly to $650 at Best Buy, so I bought that as well. After reading reviews, I came to the conclusion that the...

One review says it won't work with PS4. They called customer service and told him "PS4 and Roku have HDCP version 2.2. Your projector has version 1.2. It cannot read that signal and cannot be...

The reviews indicate this Pro7827HD model has a higher lag than some others. 50ms compared to 16ms on some other models. In practice I am not sure how much that really impacts gaming, but some...

This would work fine. I'd think a cheaper option would be one of the portable/compact style. Since you can control ambient light in the room, it should work ok (one of their negatives is they aren't...

Would this be a good projector for showing movies outside or is there something better in this price range?

I had to be careful with mounting my Epson 2045 and use correct height - perhaps it is one of the few that doesn't have that functionality?

I've owned this projector for two years and love it. It is a bit noisy, especially when not in ECO mode, and light uniformity is poor (common on budget projectors). Otherwise I find the image quality...

Most budget 1080p DLP projectors certainly do NOT have physical lens shift. The BenQ HT2050 being one of the few others that actually does (small vertical). Lens shift previously to recent years was...

I wonder about that. The issue was not mentioned in other reviews that do in-depth testing. It was not clear from the review, how the projector was being fed the movie. Meaning, I wonder if this...

Don't put Lens Shift in the title if it just has Vertical Lens Shift. All these DLP projectors pretty much have that, otherwise projector would have to be at a fixed height which is kind of hard...

With projectors, lumens are one of the least important stats - since you are going to be operating them in the dark (hopefully). Instead, look at contrast ratio, fan noise, and lamp life. The 2150...

Budget 3LCD is actually worse for blacks, and not quite as sharp as the better budget DLPs thus worse picture quality, it's not a huge difference, but it's there. The 2150 is a nice step forward for...

Thanks! Would it be as easy to look for lumens...I saw a post earlier when someone said don't just look at lumens...but not sure if that's in reference for colors for movies.
