You DO NOT want galvanized for mini grills or fire pits. That stuff is nasty. That said, I could use something like this for oily rags if it sealed better. The if the holes in the lid allow...

For comparison I was reading the reviews of Behrens 5 gallon tub on Amazon and the buyers were saying the seams leak and they are glued( probably crimped and glued). If their tub can't hold water...
