I owned this, bought about 2 years ago. With the current price point and specs, it's not a bad buy - solid performance, good sound and screen brightness. I didn't like the fact that there wasn't an...

I tried applying birthday coupon and .edu coupon together but only one of them rings. Tried it at store too but the system kept removing the smaller discount (10% in my case).

The terms say applies to “Was or regular price” which is their way of excluding any items on sale over 10%. It does work on most MacBooks.

Manager might be able to but it’s generally not meant to be used on sale items due to the terms.

It's an OK laptop. Some people might frown upon, it only having 8 GB of RAM. I personally do not like laptops smaller than 15.6" BUT...... it all boils down to your needs and preference.

Samsung laptops do well in brightness from what I've seen playing around with them at BB. Their current lineup is pretty solid.

This one is a bit heavy and I don't believe the ram is upgradable. It should include the pen.

i have a 10% birthday coupon...when i tried to use it online, it applies to the original price. Do you think in-store, they will let me apply to the discounted price?
Post #118169271 added 07-26-2018 10:45 PM by thegendler in Deal Talk
so they did let you the birthday reward or not? also, is it an actual code? i see mine only popping up on certain items on the site, as a check box.

Its not a DDR3 RAM.This has a LPDDR3 RAM which is used in most ultrabooks to give better battery life. So dont comapre it to the DDR4, there is a difference between DDR, DDRL and LPDDR rams.

Yah its still garbage value, and if youve seen in stores, it sure as hell isnt an ultrabook..more like a business laptop circa 1995. 'Thicc' as black booty

So you got $699 - $69.90 (10%) - $100 (student) - $65 (reward) + tax - $46.51 (10% reward), pretty good deal especially since the birthday coupon generally doesn’t work on sale items
