I was surprised at how easy it was. You can even reuse the enclosure for something else if you wanted to. And I'm pretty sure you still have warranty on the shucked drive.

Whites are essentially relabeled reds. I have whites in mine and they have the exact same specs. i bought mine and shucked them in june of this year bought them from BB ebay
