The 9.0ah battery does qualify for the LSA, but only if it is bought in a battery "kit". It has to be labeled as a Kit for the batteries to qualify

I bought my impact wrench on Sep 7th, registered it on Ridgid website on Sep 7th and it is still pending LSA... I plan on returning the 9.0 battery. Little overkill for my needs

Their LSA approval has been strange. I submitted a 9aH kit on Sept. 10th and haven't heard anything. I registered a Circular Saw on Sept. 11th and it was approved the next day.
