In for the HT2410. Been waiting on a deal on one and am perfectly happy with a refurb. Have had ego tools for years and never a problem and at 70 bucks its worth it to me.

Your assumption is correct. I tried doing this, and it was too fatiguing with the extra weight. Besides, I can trim all of my 100ft hedge using the 2.5AH battery, but just barely.

the 5 ah does get annoying after a while with the hedge trimmer if you constantly have to use it above shoulder level. I usually use the 2.5ah for that

Thanks OP! Went for the brushless hedge trimmer with the 2.5Ah battery included. Very slick deal if you think the FC tool is worth around $70. With tax I get the battery and charger for another $70.
