On XMP: it doesn't just not use XMP, it does not recognize xmp ram in the 1st slot. You literally can't use XMP ram unless you have non XMP ram in slot 1. All performance ram is XMP, sooooo.......

XMP for memory is just the profile certain memory must use to hit its rated specs I believe...so you upgrade the memory to a faster set that uses the XMP profile, I guess this laptop won't be able to...

G3 lacks Thunderbolt 3 port and that price was with SlickDeal Rebate. That was valid on any Dell Gaming Laptops.

Are you sure of that? It has a Type-C Gen 2 port as per my knowledge, not Thunderbolt 3. In the new G series launch, Dell has mentioned that G3 is the only model lacking Thunderbolt 3.

Can't handle xmp RAM. I have the I-5 version of this, and if I had known that before hand I would not have bought it. Stay away until they fix the BIOS.
