The edge on these leatherman muti-tools are scary sharp. I've sliced my palm on year when it accidentally slipped in my hands. So fortunate it didn't slice any tendons.

The corkscrew is an odd choice for a multi-tool. How often do you unexpectedly encounter a wine bottle on the go with no one to open it for you? The engraving is a cool option though. For the same...

I don't go hail corporate too often but leathermans are very very very well built and come with a no questions asked 25 year warranty, you just pay shipping. I had a floor cover at work that was...

I agree about the corkscrew. It seems like a waste of pocket space to me. I carry a skeletool CX every day in my pocket or workbag, with a small style CS or Squirt CS on my keychain. The...

Leatherman scissors are really amazing tools, they use high quality steel. Sharp enough for medical purposes in a pinch - and I speak from experience in this.

I think leatherman discounts are pretty rare. I actually found the deal because I was frustrated that a sitewide discount didnt work at another store :) I did poke around for codes- but found nothing.

I think a lot of it comes down to demand for the S2, as I believe that's the most popular one. I would just love an S2 for the price of a C2 is all.

Although it's true, Leatherman is quite well known for their tool quality. True it's expensive, but it comes with engraving. A pen with engraving from store like "things remembered" would cost $25+....

I mean, I don't have any intimate knowledge of Leatherman's internal costs of individual tools. The scissors require a lot more engineering than corkscrews, and they are also much more desirable and...

"Still a little too high"... based on what? Your budget? Your price comparison? Leatherman Tools are made in the US of A. If you want American-made quality, you're going to pay the price, period.

I picked up the Juice C2 on a previous sale. I agree about the corkscrew being less than useful, but the price jump for the scissors was too much. As for the tool: so far it's been great. Feels...

See my earlier post - looks like you need to add engraving to the “dummy” item you add then later delete from the cart. Worked for me.
