I am a sci-fi fan, and loved this book. I also loved Cryptonomicon. I liked Snowcrash, but all I remember now is the biker with the nuke.

I read this book a few years back and that was my sense, too. I’d maybe be a little more generous and say that the first 3/4 is really good and the last 1/4 is a letdown. Still worth the read.
