I also have no idea how they are saying they can make this cheaper. I haven't found a single desktop for this great of bang for your buck. Also having everything boot from SSD seems smoother for many...

That RAM clock speed needs to go up and make it dual-channel. Both super important on the Ryzen platform

Ugh...I got a similar set but with a 1070ti for $900. I was very happy with it, but damn, now I’m having second thoughts with this deal. Obviously, the 1070ti is significantly better, but this is...

Yea, I’m really going back and forth on whether to add ram (I currently have 8gb). I ordered some today because I saw a good deal. But the more I look at it, the more I realize how little it’ll...

For a built system, this is ok. But as previous posters have noted, it is hamstrung by some components. It’s no secret that one can build with individual components cheaper than a built-in system-...

Please, link it. I keep hearing “build cheaper than pre-built” but I’ve never seen actual proof of it. I used to build, but I bought a prebuilt a few days ago because it was cheaper than building it...

Will this be a good upgrade for XPS 8500 (which I add a 256 SSD as boot)? not for gaming, but rather for heavy multi-tasking purpose. (or is there better choice right now?) Thanks in advance.

This motherboard I think has two slots and one is occupied with 8GB. So, you need to use 16GB module totaling it to 24GB. And regarding your choice of 3000 MHz Ram, it will not work on that speed....

Cheaper? Can you really prove it's cheaper to build with full versions of windows, from a retail or even a legal oem license? Oh, no, you can only say it's "futureproof" if you spend "a little more",...

Yeah, sucks that I'm right. Amazing there would be people who don't work in IT who have lives and would rather be up and running than spend more for supposed future proofing.

Answer to all your questions are positive. It is extremely easy to add one 3.5" drive and the PSU has enough connectors to handle couple. It will not affect the heat management. Try to understand,...
