More inches and less pixels means lower ppi which is bad. How bad is up to you to judge though. I wouldn't say it's too bad though

It would but you might want a 4k monitor if you have$300-500 to spare. Add HDR and you are at 2x-6x that cost. Low latency and high contrast are good attributes for any monitor.
