The 1/2 inch performs better than the 3/8. It has more surface area for hammering. 1/2 works better with extensions as well. Like you said depends on what your using it with and for. I ordered...

Currently $140 on eBay from CPO. With 10% bucks it's a better deal. Some may have tax. Either way this is pretty much standard price.

It pretty much comes down to sockets. Since the whole idea of this is how compact it is, you don't really want to be adding length with an adapter, so it makes sense to buy one that matches the...

This isn't your primary impact. That's 1/2". This won't do suspension. This is for tight spaces and speed.

Also consider 1/2 sockets are typically larger than 3/8 sockets in depth and width. So of you're really working in a tight area, 3/8 would have slightly more access, if you have 3/8 sockets.

Is there any reason to get 3/8' over 1/2" ? or is it just what sockets you have?

I have the 1/2" stubby and it has the same specs as the 3/8". It has more than enough power to do suspension stuff. I don't think I've ever seen a suspension bolt tightened past 250lbs. This has...

Saw these in home depot the other day, they aren't terribly compact and would be horribly balanced with anything short of the 4/6ah battery and even then. Honestly you are better off buying an IR...

actually, if i know anything about engineering, the 1/2" drive will translate more power. for example. if you have identical bolts torqued to lets say 100 ft-lb. the 1/2" drive will take that...
