Huawei vs Dell or HP? I'd go with well established brand for this kind of money.

Does the same apply to the Spectre x360?

Huawei hit a home run with their matebook line as their first laptop. And they are world renown for their electronics. HP is the devil.

I'd still go with a Yoga 720/920 if you're lucky enough to find a deal the 16gb 4k version.

They cannot do that because MX130 is already an existing graphics card, the rebranded 940mx. And that performance issue can be resolved very easily using MSI Afterburner or other overclocked tools....

The video card in this 13" laptop is an underpowered Mx150 (1D12), unlike the 14" alternatives full powerd laptops like the Lenovo 720s and the Dell Inspiron 7472 and the Acer swift 3 52G which all...

How is this compare to matebook x pro? Same specs but this 350$ cheaper and has better warranty from Costco.

Good question. The reason is simple. Battery Life and attractiveness from a sales perspective. They want to lure people by putting a 4K display on a smaller screen (which is easier to do - without...

No it does not have. This is a very small form factor and thin Ultrabook and almost of these kind of devices omit 2.5" drive due to space constrain.

Why are laptop displays so backwards? Why do 13" laptops have 4k displays, yet 15" or 17" laptops are stuck with 1366x768 or 1080p? It doesn't make sense to me.

Does the Spectre have any other advantages over the Envy?

Highly recommend. I bought the 8550 version of this, Envy 13, earlier this year. I tried a Dell 9370 5K but its battery ran down in less than 3.5 hours, worse than my 9350. When I saw that Adorama...

There are plenty of 15" or 17" Laptops with 4K display and plenty of 13.3" Laptops with 1080P display. I am not sure how you have deduced your conclusion. It is all about your requirements and how...

Post #123821695 added 12-25-2018 8:23 PM by HarrisIqbal in Deal Talk
The answer is simple. Battery Life. Putting up a 4K screen on a smaller size is easier to do. Doing the same thing on the larger screen is going to eat up the battery life. Its a balance between...

I had the older versuon of this. The plastic screw base which hold the screen, were all cracked because of aging. And I need to mail in the laptop for warranty repair. Believe that was the bad design.
