Oof. Bought the refurbished one from Newegg about a month ago. Same price, but only a 1 year warranty. This is the best deal I’ve seen on this coffee machine so far! Nice post, OP.

Good machine but honestly my $20 aeropress is 95% as good. If you don't need a large quantity then go aeropress. Get a good grinder and beans. Done. Plus aeropress indestructible and portable.

I have the Bonavita BV1900TS for a year now, it's a great machine but people hate the thermal carafe (hard to pour out the coffee, doesn't keep coffee that hot, etc.). I share those quibbles but...

I have the Bonavita and love it absolutely. It makes excellent coffee. FYI, a good burr grinder will make the largest noticeable difference in your coffee at home. Grind fresh and be happy.

Sure, for a crappy coffeemaker, it'll burn the brew. Though this one is the Homeline model that doesn't have the variable temperature switch, it maintains 180º and will not burn the coffee. I've...

Bonavita (BV1902DW) is comparable or better in most important ways. SDers will like that the Bonavita's half the price of the Technivorm even when it isn't on sale. It also has a larger showerhead.
