releasing or announcing ? big difference. This is a crazy good deal I would get it and worst case return it back to newegg (just don't open the card) if AMD pulls off some crazy release.

From the reviews i read they are close. Current 970 I have is listing for $520 due to its core clocks and ram speeds. (Got it for 355 back in 2015 ... they goofed and i jumped on it quick)...

I have the 8500 and the xfx rx580 gts that was on sale a few weeks back dose. Takes some messing with the sata cabels but it squeezes in.

I believe so, there's videos out there showing side-by-side comparisons. However, the GTX 1060 draws significantly less power. I built a Mini-ITX system and power supply size was something I had to...

I ran the xfx 580 ok with the stock 460w PSU. I ended up swapping it out with a 1000w I had laying around. While the 1000w is overkill, I would recomend a PSU upgrade away from OEM. The two...

No real reason to buy this card over $100. With the crypto miners still dumping used cards, easy enough to get a cheap gtx 970 at or under $100 these days. Yes it was a mining card, but it should...

1060 6GB is way faster. This would be a downgrade.

just search on ebay, select the "buy it now" option, and sort by lowest price + shipping. Here's one for $85 + shipping, but a bunch are $115-125+ shipping. I see GTX 970's in the same ballpark ...

On most games but the Witcher 3 it is. Go look up many of the review sites out there. The 1060 6G beats the 580 8gb in game tests most of the time. Using the term "way faster" may have been a little...

Well, they are about the same within a few fps but the 1060 has a good power curve. AMD has always been a power hog and hot but their prices have always been lower. Unfortunately, right now,...

If you're going to get a more expensive RX 580, $250 is too much more considering that prestigious brands - more prestigious than Gigabyte, at least - are targeting lower prices than that. Nothing...

After checking reviews, it doesn’t seem worth it at this price. Better off going with the Gigabyte RX 580 which is $249.99 and you can still use the 10% off an has a $30 MIR plus the games. $195...

Specs are same as 970. I own the 970 too and fps are similar across the board and the 580 draws 40 more watts.
