I just bought one. Looks promising so far, but for $1 for 1 year, you can't go wrong. The only issue I got so far is they don't have Let's Encrypt on their Cpanel. But at least they got a pretty good...

You don't need to transfer your domain, just go to namecheap and point your nameservers to the hosting company's servers.
