They will work but they aren't good for NAS. They don't perform well in RAID, 24/7 use, high operating temperatures,and no TLER.

from my limited knowledge, i believe you'd want to go with purple drives for continuous writes. other drives aren't meant for such use, so it will fail faster. this comes from my in-law who works...
