I used this to years ago while I was pregnant traveling to Jamaica on my baby moon because it was safe for pregnancy and I was worried about the Zika. It worked really well and had no smell to it

I don't think you're looking at the right concentration. This is 20% and it works almost as well as DEET but the spray is better. I work in Haiti.

I used this lotion in the jungles of Costa Rica and at home in Fl. Works great, no stink, and can be mixed with sunscreen. I don’t get the bad reports at all?

Correct, avoid getting liquid permethrin on your skin (be especially careful if you have cats). Once it is dried onto/into clothes it is considered safe, but to be safe once my treated clothes dried...
