Personally, I would go with the LG 43" 4k monitor listed below. I have this one and its awesome. I do not game, but for productivity, you can't beat it, IMO. Just my 2c. And its less than half...

The actual height will be similar to a 16:9 27" monitor. Just much much longer. So pixel density is way just about standard.
