I encountered the same issue last night and the store had 7 left. Workers weren't helpful but I found all 7 of them in the end cap. They were hanging on top of the end cap!

I was able to pick up the 'Made for Google' versions of these in store in Peoria, IL for the 39.94 price. Picked up 2, one each for the wife and I. On an end cap in Electronics.

Any wireless charger that complies with the Qi standard will charge a Pixel 3. I'm still using old Nokia wireless chargers that were $6 years ago to charge my Pixel 3.

You found the F7U052 model, which is not the same as the Pixel 3 fast wireless charger model (F7U050). You may want to change the post to avoid confusion.
