I had a very similar problem with initial setup of my ADT hub as well. It wouldn't show the weather on the hub screen, nor could I arm the device because it wouldn't show any sensors in the Home...

I got the ST ADT Hub a few weeks ago, along with a bunch of extra sensors, and motion detectors, adding any sensors seems very fiddly, where it the app 'hangs' for a long time without proceeding...

I haven't yet but you can definitely set these up to trigger actions. They're pretty big, though, if you plan on putting them all over your house to illuminate your way.

FWIW, the same setup Smoke Alarm is $9.99, and the CO Detector is $14.99. Not sure if these are standard sale prices though.

They do seem like they just stop working after the 5 minute "walk test" period when you push the button, but (at least in my case), they do actually work even when they seem like they don't. I think...

I hate this one. After a couple weeks it only reports temperature unless you repair it entirely.
