Actually that is not true. REDcard holders receive the same 5% upfront discount they do without this new "circle" program. There is no 5% rebate or even 1% rebate if you use a REDcard to pay.

Maybe so. It said expires 5/25/19 because I printed mine out then threw it away after realizing it was in the app too. I can't find the email. It was probably in the circle dashboard on the website...

That shouldn't matter because I did the same thing and got both. You're supposed to get an email with the 5% off coupon once you register. Look in your Target app in the wallet.
