This feels like a stunning deal. I'm scratching my head as to why it's not getting more love. Certainly the 1050 Ti is an older card, but still good enough for modern titles on lower settings? ...

I want to like this a lot. Wish Dell had the option to customize the memory...8gb just doesn’t cut it and it’s $100 to upgrade. At $700 I’ve seen better overall specs but the T3 is a good touch.

Why the weight is not ideal for gaming. I think, it is the exact opposite. Rather than making it a cheap thin and light laptop which literally screw the cooling solution and battery life in these...

Yeah I think thermals might be the downside to every G series laptop (ownordisown/linustechtips made a few vids on YouTube) maybe undervolting/repasting could help. I’d try it out to test the...

I've seen better, but this is pretty decent. Stepping up to a 1060 is quite the step up though. Check out 1050ti vs 1060 benchmarks.

Very good hardware specs for the price. The only negative is the weight, which seems excessive for a 15.6" laptop.

I think it's because of the low sRGB and dim display. Also the weight. Not ideal for gaming.

Agree. I have the previous revision (7567), the heatpipes and fans are among the best design, I play Overwatch almost everyday, a few hours straight, even more during weekend, and while the fan is a...

Well the display on this is garbage, check reviews. Also, this chassis even with these components runs hot so longevity isn't great. Dell dropped the ball on the G series this and last year. Forget...

If this was the newer 2019 G5 chassis I'd be all over this deal, but this older style looks basically the exact same as my Inspiron 15 7000 series from 3-4 years ago.. Weighs the same too.

around $70 to $75, you can score a 2666 MHz 16GBx1 Ram and for adding another 8GB, it is sometimes below $40.

This is warm. Think of it this way, an average deal for an i5 8250u with 256GB SSD and 8GB RAM is $500. An extra hundred here and you have a gaming capable card and TB3. However I don't like swapping...
