Probably 500mA and 5v (usb 2.0 computer port of yester-year). Maybe that is why they ask for 5v and 1A for the charger.

Yes, but I don't know how good of an internal antenna this has ... like if you have this in the basement, I doubt it would go up 2 floors with a good signal.

Networking wise, yes. But Plex server has been designed such that it won’t work without internet access. So you need internet access.

I generally stay at Hilton’s, Hamptons, or best westerns, about 90% have not just had the Ethernet outlet but a short cat 5 cable as well. The smaller hotels rarely do.
