I own this. WiFi function is more trouble than it’s worth. Also the dial tends to move while I have the mic in my pocket, although this wouldn’t affect anything if you are actively recording.

That one can record up to 4-tracks but I don’t think it has WiFi like this one does. So depends what feature you’ll be using most , as a multi track recorder or more as wireless / streaming recorder

Kinda big...but if you are willing to use an external mic, shove it in your “cavity” and be uncomfortable 😮, it should record fine.

These pick up noise while handheld but does work a little better on a tripod. I think most people use a external mic with condensers and hook it up to these recorders for recording music and such...

Mic sound is mainly subjective at a certain point, but this is hands down better than a smartphone mic. It is great for recording conferences, nature sounds, even vocals for podcasts or audiobooks...
