I believe so, except the graphics is better on the ASUS. Build quality should be similar, but I remember the display has a wider gamut on the Acer model (mentioned at notebookcheck somhow).

Depends on what you're looking for. The UHD 620 is not as good as the Vega 8 whatsoever, but form factor and everything else may be your style and the i7 is better than the 3500U
