Reliability: SLC>MLC>TLC>QLC. If you care about warranty and reliability, stay away from HP. Samsung, Crucial, and WD are the best and easy to RMA.

If I understand right, if your M.2 port is SATA only, then this SSD drive won't work since it's NVMe. My personal choice will always be Samsung if there is only a 10-15% difference in price.

If you use this as a game only storage, then it would be a good choice. On the other hand, I still recommend the 2tb version over it. Since you will never use up the cache of the 2tb one.
