You made the right decision. This Corsair is not fully modular, only silver, has shipping charges, and runs hotter than the Seasonic (bittech & Tom's reviews) 550 is plenty for most people.

I am not finding those reviews either. TWEAKPC has a good review that you can translate. These power supplies have very good efficiency. At lower loads they are almost hitting platinum. So it is true...

If 550 is plenty (which it probably is for most people) then the Seasonic is the better choice.

What? When did Bittech and Tom's Hardware (which I assume is what you're referring to) review this psu? I have the 650W version and the fan doesn't even spin at 350W+ load.​
