Or a clean install and then you have to hope that all the drivers can be found to work as good as should be. I just bought the Lenovo S340 i3 Costco deal and did a clean install much for the reason...

Its predecessor (2500u) runs toasty and sucks juice like an HQ. The other issue is the lack of UV. I can do -100mv on my 8250u, but with these amd chips that's not an option.
