So, I bought my mower on 8/25. I got three uses out of it, and it broke on 9/16. I called Craftsman for support, they said they would send me a replacement unit. It is now October 14th, and I just...

Unknown. Craftsman couldn't get me a schematic diagram to be able to do any electrical diagnostics on it. It just won't turn on.

Hilly terrain & big yard. that's what you get self propelled for. A battery operated SP mower feels a lot stronger in both conditions. & No gas (& Oil & Filter & Plugs) = more time to do other...

What is the advantage of this one over the gas self-propelled one?

What I'm wondering is can this be converted to a battery powered go-kart engine? Would it have enough torque and run time? I haven't seen anyone have plans online for one of those, but maybe their...

Great mower for the price. Be aware though, it's a heavy beast.

There are posts for the trimmer and blower on clearance. The trimmer was around $120 and the blower was around $90. eBay you two $30 off coupons and it will be a very slick deal.

All good points. I think I am going to chance it on the battery & expect it to be covered (3 or 4 years i believe) or else get something new when the mower dies & the technology gets better & costs...

FYI, if it helps in deciding, we recently got a Greenworks battery powered mower (going from a previous electric plug in) and honestly the brushless mowers are so light, even with both batteries in...

I am not sure if this is a good deal. The battery itself cost as much as the mower. So after a couple of years when the battery dies, you don't know if Craftsman will be still selling the battery or...

Did you print it out or actually receive the coupon in mail and use it in the store?

Good luck with your perceived 4-year warranty. You can have a lifetime warranty on the tool, but battery warranty is always different.

Anyone have a good link to the coupon? Thanks in advance

Most people have been purchasing the coupons off Ebay. They are one use coupons.

If the battery lasts 1000 cycles (which is probably conservative) that's like 40 years of lawn mowing.

I just checked 8 Lowes stores in my area via BrickSeek. They all have from 6 to 16 in stock. A few days ago some of them were sold out, and the rest had very low stock, so they are still coming into...

Going on 6 years on my B&D trimmer that's NOT brushless using a 40V that gets used about 25+ uses per year. And a trimmer takes more of a beating than a mower.

Where did you pull this wild conjecture from, exactly? Where does your understanding of these batteries source?

I the greenworks a rapid charger? I dont need to mow my lawn 20 minutes after I just mowed it lol. Already going to be putting the charger in my basement to avoid killing it in michigan winters.

That's the beauty of this charger - it's not s rapid charger. It takes 3hrs and 45 minutes to charge 7.5ah battery. So it charges with 0.25c rate (quarter of the capacity). Comparing this to EGO I...
