The I7586 is very solid and premium built. I transferred another 8GB of RAM and 512GB samsung Evo and this thing is flying. Glad I didn't buy the 3000 series from Costco :)

I used a 65W USB-C charger and apparently overcharged the battery here. There was "residual charge" which caused my laptop to not start up at all. Had to remove the battery and hold hold power...

Just uninstall McAfee and enable Windows Security. It's very good. There really shouldn't be much other bloatware to begin with. I would just uninstall whatever you don't need by hand and not bother...

just opened up mine and tried to plug into my dell WD15 dock station. it charges just fine through the USB C, and all my wireless stuff picks up thru the dock but no display out.
