m3 is okay for simple stuff which what mostly you do on Chromeos. Now Slate has it's own issue. The previous generation m3 on HP X2 Chromebook detachable worked with no issue for me.

Pretty sure Google abandoned the tablet market. They've never been successful with any of their tablets (except the nexus 7 i think?). IPad or surface offers the much better and more mature experience
