Harbor Freight has a 6 pack of short and extended (6" ???) adapters (1/4, 3/8, 1/2) for like $3-4, I think that's what I paid. I use my impact driver for just about everything :)

The hog ring sucks. Sockets constantly get stuck once on, or you'll have trouble putting them on trying to overcome the ring. The anvil is a MUCH better design.

All I am really looking for is something to break lugs on my GMC1500 and my camper if I'm on down on the side of the road during a trip. Do you think the M12 Milwaukee impacts would provide enough...

It seems the Lowe’s coupon generator doesn’t work anymore and you can buy on eBay, but they’re all in-store only. Any issues with using these? I’m looking at getting the $99 one discussed here....

Not really. This tool is only 130 ft/lbs. You might have trouble getting some lug nuts off, especially on a truck, or if there is corrosion. You'll be a lot better off using a half inch with at...

They rate them different, compare the MAC versions which are same as DeWalt but they rate way higher "break away torque" just like Milwaukee This is the old brushed version. Neither usually goes...

"hahahaha" the 5 ft-lb difference isn't going to make much of a real world difference. if the 125 ft-lb they felt was under powered, more than likely the 130 ft-lb would be under powered also. ...

Kind of weak sauce. An impact driver with a 3/8 socket adapter will do just about the same. I spent about $100 on eBay for a new mid range DeWalt impact wrench with about 400 ft lbs of torque and has...

I found that Milwaukee M12 fuel impact wrench will not turn stuck lug nuts on my SUV. Had to get the M18 Fuel version - now that is a beast! I probably would not get anything with less torque than...

Did you even try? And it's the same tool with 1/2" so not enough torque for suspension work. It's not the mid torque or big boy half inch

The listed spec for the Dewalt XR Impact Driver has 2000 in-lb which seems roughly equal to 150 ft-lb (I think)?
