I bought this TV a few months ago. The Roku interface is great. I didn’t think the 4K upgrade would be that noticeable but the colors and textures really stand out. And you can’t beat the price.

I went through this dilemma of trying to figure which to go with in this range. I went with the TCL 50S425 series ie 50 inch for $279.99. I did a lot of reading plus comparisons.

I would be all over this, but I just read that a new Over The Air standard is coming (ATSC 3) for 4K TVs next year, and nothing out there right now has it.

I got the 65in version of this TV for $399 and I love it. It was only supposed to be a stop-gap solution until I could afford an expensive TV but I'm actually happy with it so will probably keep it...

I'd highly recommend you guys wait till black friday.. especially for TCL 5 series sales. 5 series has wide gamut, it's a big difference, in terms of color saturation.
