You can, but others noted problems with receiving gift cards that weren't activated. To avoid the hassle, I just went and purchased a $500 GC at my local VZW store.

I do not see any language excluding gift cards, and it does state that orders placed on verizonwireless.com are eligible. So theoretically, purchase of $500 in gift cards via this link *should* work....

I already chatted with VZ's rep online and they said that 90 days after it fully paid it will be unlocked! So even if you paid off at beginning still have to wait 90 days... What a joke! :lol:

I would say keep checking. Not 100% guaranteed, but I know I have had some offers that popped up later, and sometimes never at all. It appears to be random.

Amex offers emails haven't been working lately. I used 2 different offers over the last few weeks and didnt get an email confirmation for either. 1 day after the charge posted I saw the credit.
