M1 & PP are still group-III “synthetic”, this the same thing as this when it comes to base stock. Most “synthetics” are not real synthetic oils.

Nothing. It's just cheaper without the rebate. Normal oil changes, 5k-7k miles on a regular car, this works fine. Maybe 5k for sports cars or turbos.
