Hi. I have owned both. They have a different sound signature. You be wise to try both in your home and return one after listen for awhile. I preferred the lsim sound myself.

Gravity. I have these speakers and there is a beautiful smooth wood finish on the bottom with no good way to screw or secure them to any stand.

Polk seems overpriced for what it is.. Bose tends to have higher resell.. I think they threaded the needle with mid range consumer well...

Most speaker stands include some type of rubber grommet the speaker sits on, otherwise just use some stick on rubber feet. I've never had issue with peeling them off as needed,
