So I got the printer installed on Win10 using HP Smart and then I managed to sign up on the site for the free plan. I also added the $15 in total credits that came with it if I ever use more than 15...

Was already planning to but thanks for the heads up, so far only printed like 6 pages and even though the tech/rep said it would be fine was going to wait like 48hrs before I print anymore.

There may be a delay between the print and actual count on your account (I've read this from their support boards, and it sounds like it could take a day). Just a caution before anyone prints too...

Confirmed, worked for me as well and I was told if I ever did change my plan to a higher tier and wanted to revert to free I would need to contact them to do so, which means apparently you can return...

Best deal on a printer if you needed one. Only $30 but came with $15 worth of credits for instant ink. It wouldn't let me sign up for the free plan so I enrolled with the free month on the $2.99...

I bought the $20 printer and I see now it's for $60. Good deal, but we all know HP wants to hook us all on Instant Ink.
