In case anyone is worried about the weight and awkwardness of trying to put this ladder against the house fully extended: I have been using these ladders for years and there is a trick. I am...

Just went to home depot for this ladder. The manager had 15 in stock but they were bundled on the top shelf. He gave me the gorilla 22ft for the same price. Had the little giant 17 from Costco but...

There have been many comparisons to the Little Giant ladder but I think its important to note that the Werner is a Type IAA (375lb) and the Little Giant is a Type IA (300lb). The extra 75lb capacity...

I have a few Werner and LG ladders. I prefer the LGs hands down. The Werner ladders seems to have sticky rung releases after just a few uses. they weigh roughly the same but the ease of use for LG...

This really is a great solid ladder. Got mine about 5 years ago on sale for $99.00 at HD. It's not light to carry around but it's very easy to extend and get up against the house.

Bought 22' LG from Lowes three days ago when it was priced at $159. Paid about $150 after $20 Chase credit card offer. It is 43 LB but has wheels and leveler and I think it is worth extra $40.

Bought my 22’ from Lowes already and I love it. However, this is $40 less and perhaps adds better value minus some of the “ease of use” features. Both good ladders that should perform similarly.

Little Giant seems to have more options like wheels, and single extendable legs for uneven floor. Seems to me that's the better ladder.

Don't trust the weight limit. You should buy Little Giant.

Got this one from Lowe's last year. Heavy as hell!. The Little Giant one went on sale after I got it. Would've gotten the Little Giant one instead.

I hate this ladder, sooo heavy and awkward to move around. I am switching back to light alloy set ladders 8, 12, 16, 20 ft.
Post #131949979 added 11-16-2019 12:35 AM by megablank in Deal Talk
No, good ladders are heavy for a reason ladder safety https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n28tYo5T1Po That being said the little giant is probably better made.

How much does the LG weigh? If it's significantly lighter, spend the extra $40.

Just wanted to point out that the ladder in the OP is 19 feet long, fully extended. Add 3 feet of reach and you get a ladder that is called a 22 foot reach ladder. The LG ladder at lowes is 15 feet...
