FYI ... this would work on a smart plug and you can tell it to turn off and on via alexa/google. Nice unit, small size, good heat. If I need more heat I use my 1500w units that have remote.

After the work is done (the CPU cycle, Hard drive read/write, GPU cycle, etc) it is dissipated as heat. That energy doesn't just disappear.

You're correct... and it depends on the lightbulb... and that basically proves the point... lightbulbs that lose 80% to heat will produce less heat will produce 11% less heat than one that loses 90%...

I agree! Comfort is a separate issue...infrared say they have the best bc its direct heat to the user, but forced air tends to make the entire area more comfortable
