The one I got was also missing a bit of paint on the handle. But I don't care. This isn't a decoration.

Not necessary. It can be in the $50’s too. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Southwire-100-ft-12-3-SJTW-Hi-Visibility-Outdoor-Heavy-Duty-Extension-Cord-with-Power-Light-Plug-2589SW0002/205544515

In Mass you need a 2 stage gas blower. Don't waste your money on a puny electric one.

I bought something very similar at similar price. It was not fun using it. I felt it would of been easier to use a regular shovel. I was hurting bad the next day. I now use a gas machine and even...

What extension cord should I get for this? I see a few 12/3 ones on here but I don’t think those are good enough, right?

FWIW I bought a similar snow joe for $85 a couple winters back (metal auger, though I think mine is the 13.5A version), it has survived way longer than anticipated. The only thing that's ever really...

For snow 4 in or less the electric snow blowers are great. Light weight and instant start. However when we got anything over 4 in, I would have to pick up the electric snow blower to blow off the...

Just to keep info in the thread for future reference: I purchased on a Friday morning and it arrived next Monday afternoon. I opened the box to take a look and the handle, which is two pieces, was...

12/3 IS rated for 15A and IS good enough for up to 100'. And you probably shouldn't be using more than 100' of cord anyway.

Just used this for the Boston area snow we got. 6" of HEAVY and icy snow...Worked like a champ getting through it. It struggles a bit with the wet slushy mounds that the plow leaves at the end of...

I bought the SJ623E model on 2017 and has been great, I don't have a driveway so we park on the street. I plow from the middle of the street to my house so we can have clear parking spaces, then I do...

Yup. Good advice. I'll just add that you can soldier through with an electric even with massive amounts of wet snow. It just won't eat through on one pass. You'll likely need to cut through with...

Thank you for the advice.......I was tempted by the lack of maintenance, easy storage and the fact gas machines rarely/ if ever get discounted until the end of the season. Last year there was a...

Pretty hot deal on a Snow Joe corded electric snow blower. This is the Martha Steward branded MTS-EST22 model, which is the same as the Snow Joe SJ627E except that it's green. 22", 15-Amp, dual...

No question, a good gas powered snow blower is better than an electric. But a good gas powered snow blower is going to cost about 3x (or more) than this, requires regular maintainance, can't easily...
Thanks for posting, was just about to purchase this item, saw the code your posted and saved myself an additional $11 off!

Depends on the length of your driveway and sidewalk. Generally I believe 12/3 is the best you can get. Just be sure it's certified for outdoor use.

A 12/3 might be good enough. You need an extension cord that supports the 15 amps this blower runs. It's also good to get something that has a sheathing compound that does not freeze. A decent 100'...

I have been looking threw BF ads; there are no Corded units that are discounted. I assume there will be deals. Need my first snow blower, deciding that a corded would still be useful for storage...

I purchased an electric snowblower by this same company last year and it ended up being one of my worst purchases ever. The thing broke down in the first 15 mins and it was a huge headache to ...

Having both an electric and gas snowthrower, they each have their place in removal of snow. The one thing to understand is snow comes in different consistency. Sometimes it’s powder. Sometimes...
