The specs on HP website ... And more likely than not if any laptop says Intel Optane that would mean the PCIe slot is occupied by it and they can only use regular SATA

I have an extra 256GB NVMe PCIe card; if I replace the Optane memory with it, it shouldn't decrease performance correct? I read that Optane memory is pretty much fast SSD used as cache.
