How do these work for Nintendo Switch Online? Do I claim them and they stay on the account? Do they cycle out the free games?

Great addition of games. However, I do agree the title is misleading. This would be like making a Slickdeals post each week for "free" movies and tv shows added to Netflix.

It's same type of threads that the PS+ and Xbox Live games are regularly posted Monthly. It's been awhile since we last heard from Nintendo with any free games with paid membership. I immediately got...

Honest question - As I don't play on the Switch - got it for my kid for Christmas. I downloaded the two software NES and SNES. I have the switch online subscription. Where do I go from there to...
From the Switch Menu, you should see the newly downloaded NES and SNES app. Just click on it, should load up with access to the library of games. I assume you are signed in with your Nintendo Account...

You can't. You're not getting games for free. You're getting access to games as a part of your subscription to the service.
Nintendo Switch Online sub is like $20/year. Nut up.
A couple amazing games. Love this service.
What a stupid and unnecessary post by someone trying to fish for rep.

Do I have to purchase/install these games directly from my Switch or can I do that from my PC logging into my account? I have tried to find them using my PC, but I can't. Thanks, Topp

If you don't pay for the online membership then you don't get to play the "free" games. Your comment makes total sense to me.
How is this a deal? It's literally just a feature of a service you pay for.
Oh man, I remember playing Crystalis when I was a teenager, I'll have to make sure to check these out. Thanks for the heads up!

So, do you have access to all free titles released prior to signing up for Nintendo Online? Or only from the point of sign up forward?

So you don't need to claim them as with Gold or PS+? They are just adding to the existing library like Game Pass and this is a PSA? Honest question as I would sign up immediately if these needed...

We haven't activated the Switch we bought last month (in the Target deal) so might be wrong, but isn't it $19.99 individual/$34.99 for an online family account per year?
