These don't have a 3.5mm input because they use digital direct drive which I assume is class-d pwm based amplification. A 3.5mm would have required an extra analog to digital circuit.

Not him , but there a bit of white noise when you connect to BT. I can't hear it once I play some audio, but once I pause I hear it again until I guess the headphones go to sleep once it notices it...
