I think all IPS panels suffer from IPS glow and edge bleeding. You can avoid that by applying absolute perfect pressure across the entire panel, with super rigid metal frame, like M$ Surface line...

I sent you a PM. 1440p is the sweet spot for money vs resolution to be sure. By this point in time, 1080p is entry level (under $100 for decent non-gaming oriented monitors)
